What do you mean by I can tell they are not going to last me long?
Weber has been using this leg style since the 50's and obviously stand the test of time. <confused>
Lance i have a old BBQ kettle thats over 30 years old & never had any problem's with the leg's & that thing been well abused over the years lol
What is it about the legs that you would like to change/mod besides removing the wheels?
Make them taller.. or stronger.. or...?
Tim
The wheels just seem like they will grind down quick on Concrete and the pipe seems very thin and light. I will leave it as and see how it holds up in the long run.
Thanks
The wheels & legs hold up just fine moving it on concrete. My 06 OTG is garage kept and I move it back and forth all the time. The only things I did to mine was add three self tapping screws to the legs at the sockets, reinforced the triangle wire shelf with some wood and added a third wheel so I don't have to tip it back to move it. Also added some shaft collars to replace the hub caps (push nuts) that were constantly falling off.

Lance buddy....how many miles have you put on this OTG, I'm sure if you wore the tires/wheels out Weber would replace them for you. Are you rotating them after every 5,000 miles?
