Hey y’all,
I’m in the market for my first Weber grill and had a quick question on the 22 vs 24 design, it seems that the newer models may not be as good as older and was curious what y’all thought. As far as I can tell the 2024 is missing the tank gauge, has a shorter side table, has lower quality doors, and the heat shield on the inside of the hood is reduced. I’ve seen people online saying the metal is thinner and of lower quality too.
I have the opportunity to buy a floor model 22 at the same price as the 2024. I’ve also been considering the SA-E-330 which has no side burner or lights but the indigo blue is pretty nice looking. I can't figure out if I should buy the 2022 floor model SP-E-335 or get the SA-E-330 since the color fits really well with my patio and it has most of what i need (crafted system, griddle, searing) and I don't really see myself using the side burner.
What do y'all think? Do the changes really matter? Will they affect longevity and how the grills cook? Thanks in advance for any help!
