2001 Genesis Silver C Restoration X2

I have owned my Silver C since new and have been keeping an eye out for Craigslist deal on any old Weber gasser for a friend. Then just around the block from house I see a familiar shape at the curb on garbage night...a Silver C! I threw it in the van and giggled all the way home like a lunatic. She was pretty beat and was NG to boot, but I still couldn't believe my luck.

I then read and re-read the restoration sticky on the site (you guys are the best and probably the only decent and friendly place on the internet). I got to work on the NG conversion to propane and while at it tore my grill apart too. Took a month of Sundays and week nights and ALOT of beer, but thanks to the good people of this forum I got them done and firing on all burners.

Delivering the Greenie to my friend next week.
