1987 Barbeque: The Weber Tradition 4012101

This is the original gray plastic binder cookbook that came with Genesis 1/2/3 gas grills from 1985 to the early 1990s. 78 full color pages, 6.5" x 8.5", copyright 1985 with a 4th printing dated 2/87.

The redhead grill shown on page 7 is an early Genesis 3 with wide slat worktables and storage rack, black burner control knobs, and old-style tank scale and whitewall tires.

Thanks to TVWBB member G Schafer for sharing this document...it came with his father's gas grill.

That's really awesome. Imagine buying one of these new. I graduated college in "85. Seems like yesterday and yet these grills seem historic.

At this point, are these models super hard to find? How do they compare to the 1000 series?
