1960s Weber Kettle Cover Documentation

These photos were included in an auction by eBay user redchev16 for a 1960's NOS Weber kettle cover. The kettle cover model number is BC47 and was designed to fit 22" kettle grills.

I was watching that auction. I even did some research trying to figure out what it would fit as it didn't specifically say in the auction.

Sold for $185.50. Wow.

So ugly yet so cool.

The item checked (BK) is the prefix for 22" kettle grills. You can see this prefix used in the old Weber catalogs. For example:
  • BK-710 The Texan (Jet Black)
  • BK-730 The Statesman (Hunter's Pink (red))
  • BK-750 The Imperial (Glen Blue)
  • BK-770 The Estate (Chestnut-Coppertone)
