14.5" WSM - First overnight cook

Last night was my first overnight smoke on the 14.5" WSM. A 5.5 lb Butt went on at 10:30 pm and came off to be foiled at 6:00 this morning. Temps held fine overnight, starting at 270 right before putting the pork butt on the smoker. At 5:15 this morning it was still holding strong at 250 with an IT of 170, so I'd call it a success. Now off to the oven to bring it up to 195-200 IT and then keep it warm till being pulled right before lunch.

The bottom vents were open between 1/4 and 1/3, full charcoal ring and minion method using 12 lit coals, hickory chunks, ash guard removed, and water pan 1/3 full of sand as a heatsink. I last checked the temp and 11:00 pm, but didn't check it till the next morning. Kinda scary the first time with a newish (4-5 cooks) smoker, but it couldn't have performed any better.
