14.5 Hood Hinge

Saw the post about the small Akorn Jr hood hinge but has anyone actually tried it and knows if it works on the 14.5?

My WSM 14.5 lid is so light I never thought that a hinge was needed.

Yessir. I installed one yesterday. Had to shim it but it works great. Still need to paint though.
