That's exactly what I said Thomas when I purchased a Performer with Gas Assist and then a 22 WSM. Struggled with a CharGriller with side smoker box for years...turned out great food but went through a lot of fuel. Congratulations you'll love the WSM. Very ez to make great Que!

I have three other weber grills. I think my favorite is the kettle. So much better then the gas one I have.
