When I did this 5 years ago I’d never used a table saw. Now I work in the field. What a difference. Ripping and chopping slats in 10 minutes instead of hours and hours and hours. Attaching in 5 minutes instead of doing math to figure out the spacing. OMG.

That's amazing!
I spend several days on my wood slats and handles but I enjoy taking my time.

Man oh man..... I'm temped to ask you what you would take for the blue lid. My 5000 would truly be complete. But the freight to South Carolina would probably = the price of a new grill..... Very nice work on the black/cedar combo. Looks very much like the one my dad had when we were growing up.
