I was lucky enough to have a truck available the day we drove past a Weber Genesis 1000LX sitting out for the trash. I did not take many pictures of its condition before, but I will add some as I go and clean it up. It is in excellent shape, only parts missing were the burners, knobs, and some of the locknut and bracket for the tank scale. All of which I am thinking someone came by before me and snagged those parts.

Unfortunately this one doesn't have any ID numbers left on the decal.

I did find the stamped numbers in the bottom of the firebox when I tore the grill apart. Does anyone know how to decipher these stampings?

There are 8 dots out of 12 spaces with a 99 in the middle. Maybe means August of 1999?

No Idea on the A3 Might be some sort of foundry designation. The other marking is quite common in castings to designate when a product is manufactured. I've seen it on fire helmets in the past as well.
