I was looking at offerup yesterday evening and came across this and paid $60. It was about 2 miles away from my house so I figured what the heck.

My wife said, can you flip it? I know my neighbor has shown interest in my performer, so I'm thinking of offering this one to him for what I paid.


 
Nice find. For best results try to find a SSP to slip that into. You should be able to find them
out your way (black ones) for cheap. Ofter $50 or less. Then swap kettles. You will get your $$
back on the platinum, and may get $200 to $250 for a nice blue SSP.
 
Yeah, my neighbor picked up a sweet deal on a grill and offered his 26" kettle to me for $75 - then I woke up. I don't have neighbors like you!
