Gas Hose?

I giving my son a LP Genesis "sidewinder" for Christmas. His house has a bulk propane tank reduced to low pressure for the house. It has a exterior gas line hook up for his grill. The present set up has a 3/8" flare attached to his junker grill and a 3/8" threaded male into the quarter turn shut off valve. This doesn't allow him to move his grill around at all. I want to covert this to the Weber 3/8" NG hose which has the disconnect on one end and the 3/8" flare fitting on the other. Is there any difference in the hoses for NG vs. low pressure propane?

Great! That's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure before buying a hose to make his grilling experience a little more flexible. Now he will be able to move the grill under his patio overhang for crappy weather cooks.
