These are constantly on the Washington DC craigs list. Can't imagine this to be legit at these prices, but I've been seeing these ads for years and they are all in this same area. Is someone hijacking trucks from the factory?

I worked in the DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, areas for 5 or 6 years a while back, and delivery truck drivers would readily "sell" sealed boxes off the back of their trucks for 10 to 50 bucks. You got what was inside without the benefit of knowing what you were buying. Sometimes you got good stuff, sometimes you got useless crap. That type of activity easily explains what you are seeing. Just relating my own experiences................
