I have for sale a horizontal/vertical offset pit manufactured by Chuckwagon Cookers in New Braunfels, TX. This is a stick burner.
Firebox is 16" diameter and 18" long.
Horizontal cook chamber is 16" diameter and 30" long. Door is drilled for two 1/2" NPT thermometers (not included).
Vertical cook chamber is 16" x 18" and has 3 grates. Original pit thermometer was moved to the vertical door.
3/16" welded steel construction all around.
I have added a baffle from the firebox to the horizontal cook chamber as well as six 6"x14"x1/4" steel tuning plates.
It's not new, in fact I can't tell you how old it is. There is some rust on the firebox but it's not bad. The rest of the pit could use a sanding and a paint job.
The manufacturer is no longer in business so I have no idea what it would go for new. A comparable Horizon 16" Ranger pit goes for $1600.00.
Asking $900 cash only.
Obviously you'll need to come get it. Bring a trailer.
If you don't bring a trailer, bring enough muscle to lift it into your truck bed. I'm not a young man anymore and this thing is heavy.
