Stoker: Can't Open Stoker web interface

Recently upgraded my stoker to 2.6.0.254 from 2.2 (I think). I get the error in the title while starting Stokerlog....

I am NOT putting http:// in front of the IP.

Here's a copy of the log, log.

Clearly I can ping the device. It's hard wired into my network. I am wireless from the laptop to the wireless router.

Any ideas?

System: Laptop ---> Wirelss to Lynksys WRT100 ---> Hardwired to Lynksys SRD205 ---> Hardwired to Stoker.

Stoker serves up web page directly to browser, but not to the stoker log.

Any/All help appreciated.

.

You have me stomped. It is failing on getting the browser page which if you are in a stand-alone browser, should work there too.

What stoker do you have and what is its version number?

Hi Amir,

Thought I'd catch up to you here.

I have an older model. Prior to the lit probes. There is no marking on the unit so I can't fill you in on the version.

I've upgraded the code as indicated in the OP.

Yes, if I browse directly the Stoker serves up the rudimentary html web page, but stokerlog does as indicated above...

I'm kinda stumped..

Mike

Hi Mike. The version number is under one of the menus. I have the same hardware as you as do many others so that is not the reason for it.

My guess is that it is a PC issue. Have you done an uninstall/reinstall?

Also, try this. Check the box that says HTTP only on top right. See if that works (likely will fail but rules out some possibilities).

Thanks Amir,

I tried the HTTP check box. No behaviour change.
As for version, I can't find reference to a HW version in the menus. I posted the SW version in the OP (First line).

I haven't tried, rolling up all the windows and turning the car off, replacing the engine, and restarting the car. I'll give that a shot this weekend and let you know....

Mike

Do you have another PC you can use stokerlog on temporarily so that we can tell if it is a Windows issue vs stoker?
