J JSMcdowell TVWBB All-Star Apr 19, 2011 #3 We have been trying to make repairs to the trailer in between events, not fun when you are trying to get ready for a comp. Know anything about electrical ? Our trailer has a circuit break inside, and whenever we plug into GFCI outlets it flips the outlet.

R Russ Sylvester TVWBB Pro Apr 19, 2011 #4 Just a guess off the top of my head but I would imagine that somebody somewhere has tied the neutral to the ground or the neutral is open somewhere. The reason I say that is that GFCI monitors the current on the neutral line. If it jumps too high then it will pop the breaker in the outlet. Russ

B Bill Comerford TVWBB Pro Apr 20, 2011 #5 Check whatever you are plugging in isn't wet or has a short first. The outlet might be faulty and check the wires for chaffing. On my trailer, I put in GFI breakers. HTH
