    Minion method and poultry

    Since poultry seems to be more sensitive to out side orders, does using the minion method effect the birds flavor? I know that KB does give off an odor when getting up to temp and this is my concern.

    I found a 1997 performer on CL, looks like it was hardley ever used. My question is are there any up grades that I should do. One of my concerns is where the therm is located. I already found out if you put over a bag of coals in the basket, it will fall out.
