That is an excellent grill, and a fantastic deal! You are very lucky! Simple green will really help clean it up, and a wire brush for inside of the firebox. As others said DO NOT remove the screws to the left!

You have to replace the entire manifold and add a regulator to switch it to Propane. Probably $100 in parts minimum, let alone everything else. My honest suggestion would be to keep looking for another one that is already propane, and switch the lids if you want a redhead.

I think $125 for the two burner is overpriced, unless you specifically need one that small - they just don't have the versatility of the three burner. Also $60 for a used 18" kettle seems high to me as well, considering they are $79 new.

I'd do the same to the grates, and then spray them down with some BBQ non-stick spray, then wipe them off before taking pictures. And $250 is certainly a fair price, and gives you some negotiating room. I think it could be harder to move if you go above that, but it depends on the buyer.

One note - some items that Weber will supply don't match the original parts in style - such as the burner knobs. There are places where you can get perfect replicas of the original knobs. Ebay is a good source for parts like that, but prices can vary widely.

There are always deals to be had on CL, but it can take some patience. I bought an NG '98 platinum w/ durawood side tables and under shelf, and a side burner for $10. I turned around and sold it for $150 when I found my 2011 S-330 NG for $350. I then was able to get the island cabinets later...

Happened to see this one today when I was looking through CL. The lead photo isn't of the Weber and it doesn't mention Weber in the title. But when you click through and look at the pictures the second grill available - for $200 - is a rust red E-330...

You should be able to get any color you want with NG. Check out Ace Hardware as they have upgraded models that come with the SS grates.

For $60 I am pretty sure that is no gamble at all, but rather a solid win! Any update on it?

I've seen that one on CL. Sure it is half the "regular" price and has exclusivity on its side, but it is hard to justify purchasing one when you could get 4 One-touch Golds and charcoal for the price of a used Ranch.
