    Genesis II vs Napoleon Prestige

Thank you for all the responses. I didn't expect the discussion to continue but I'm glad to read up on it. I couldn't arrange in house delivery during the height of the pandemic so I held off on my grill purchase. I'm still on the fence but I'm leaning towards getting the Napoleon - likely...

    Genesis II vs Napoleon Prestige

Thanks for the responses. Rotisserie isn't a very important consideration but it's nice to have. I can see myself getting the rotisserie basket and using it as well. I guess I have to go check out the individual grills and compare. Previously I have only looked at the Weber Genesis IIs.

    Genesis II vs Napoleon Prestige

I am looking to buy a new grill and have always had my eyes set on getting a Genesis II (with sear zone). Lately, I have been looking into the Napoleon Prestige series with its side sear burner and rotisserie included. It seems that that the Genesis II is either the same build quality or better...

    Closed Cart vs Open Cart

Are the new split grates better?

Thanks for the help. After grilling, I try to burn off the food, brush the grates, and oil it afterwards, albeit somehow I always get paper towels stuck on the grates so maybe I don't oil things properly. Anyhow, just before grilling I brush the grates again. Would it be a good idea to just...

Are the new split grates better?

I have a Q120 and I was thinking of replacing the grates (there's some rust). I believe the original grates and the split grates fit the Q120. Are the new grates better?

    Q120 Care Questions

Hi Davo. Let me pick your brain a little bit more. I tried grilling chicken wings on my griddle (previously tried straight on the grates and also aluminum foil). Unfortunately, the chicken skin stuck and it was mighty difficult to clean. What I did was use an old plastic spatula I had around and...

    Q120 Care Questions

Thanks for the advice. A question pertaining to seasoning/oiling the grates. Is something like canola oil just as good as lard? should I apply oil to the grates after every cook and before every cook when the grates are hot?

    Q120 Care Questions

I've had my Weber Q120 for a few weeks now I am still a bit confused with some of the cleaning and care procedures. I'll try to organize my post. 1) Brushing technique. I haven't done a thorough cleaning yet. What I have been doing is to do a short burn off at the end of a cook and brush the...
