    The Q1000, my favorite

When mine fell off onto the ground in pieces, it felt like some sort of ceramic or hard plastic.

Seems to be quite a few of us in MA that are rehabbing grills.

I also had a spacer break. I just put my Q200 back together without it. Seems fine. I think though that the OP was speaking of the handle spacers on the lid though and not the body spacers that break so easily.

Here is the grill after I painted on the Alabama logo with Rust Oleum High Heat white paint. Not bad for a neophyte. ROLL BAMA! ROLL TIDE!

The only satin I found was black. I too am buying a flat and using a clear gloss over it. Do you have any specific information about gloss or satin high temp spray paints? I would be open to any suggestions.

I found a color called "Mojave Red" that looks like Alabama colors. Going to give it a shot. https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B004VMG0ZC/tvwb-20

Great ad, and if I lived there and was a Badger fan I would swoop it up in a matter of seconds.

My concern is that on Amazon reviews many people complain the color is too orange.

Wow! That came out great! Can you tell me what gloss coat you used? I cannot find Alabama crimson color, so I am going to go with the Rust-Oleum Almond color. Will post results.
