Who still has a Char Q and loves it?? (besides me)

What George said Anthony. However, I don't believe that weber still stocks parts for the char-q. I could use a replacement charcoal rack as well, original probably only has a few years of production left.

Who still has a Char Q and loves it?? (besides me)

Here's a few pic's of mine as well as last nights dinner. A bit banged up but still going strong. The char-q did not come with side tables nor did they market them as an accessory. At a weber demo in april I asked the rep if any of the gas models were the same size and if their tables would...

FYI. The handle light made for the summit gas grills fits the WSCG. [/IMG]

Looking to switch to the new WSCG

It starts faster, there is more capacity, easier to hold temps for long cooks, uses less charcoal and the diffuser plate definitely makes it a better smoker than a kettle, and probably the WSM. It seals tight and when you open while smoking, you see all the moisture retained on the inside of...

Who still has a Char Q and loves it?? (besides me)

It has been my most used grill over the past 8 years or so. Quick to start, uses less fuel and has nearly the same capacity of a kettle. Plus it's portable. Two zone cooking is a must, but the results are fantastic

Attitude on Weber Summit Charcoal Grill pricing

I was also surprised by the price when it was introduced. After seeing one in person and doing research, I thought the price was competitive, if not better than comparable cookers. I have been cooking on one type or another weber for about 35 years and the WSCG is hands down the best, most...

    Question for WSCG Owners

That sounds like the right thing to do. My bullet smoker passed on a year ago and the WSCG can do everything that did and has more space. I also have a rotisserie for my performer, but think there will be one for the summit by next year at the latest. I am thinking on customizing the...

Don't think so. There is 11" of clearance from the grate to top of kettle

Looking to switch to the new WSCG

I agree with Tony R. The WSCG cooks like a dream and with the expansion rack the capacity is awesome.

Weber Summit Charcoal Grill / Grilling Center Owners Thread

Expansion racks are hard to come by. Show out of stock everywhere including weber, but I needed one for Memorial day weekendand ordered from weber 2 wees prior and got it just in time. Allowed me to stack 2 rib racks and fit 9 racks of baby backs on at one time. They continued to show out of...
