    Silver A Bunner Issue

Nothing worked. I bit the bullet and ordered a manifold for $61.00 from Weber. I mentioned the damaged spider guards and they threw in a set of burner tubes for free. Not bad. My grill should be 100%, once I get it together. Can't wait!

Silver A manifold & spider blocker question

Interesting...Weber told me the spider blocker on my model are part of the burner set, but said if they were damaged, then it was covered under warranty. So I am getting new burners for nada. I have already spent close to $200.00 rebuilding my grill so I am a happy camper.

Silver A manifold & spider blocker question

I checked everything else and the back burner is still not getting gas. Looks like I need a new manifold. It's $61.00 delivered through Weber. Does anyone know of a good aftermarket version for less? Or, should I just bite the bullet. I also have a spider blocker question. I have 3 pieces here...

    Silver A Bunner Issue

Ok, my crossover tube holes were facing up. I brought those down to line up with the burner holes. Still no flame on back burner. The spider guides are in place. Do they go outside or inside their silver cap frame? Mine are inside. I downloaded the manual and read about resetting the excess...

    Silver A Bunner Issue

Another point I thought I would mention is that about 1/4 of one end of the crossover tube broke off and I can take the tube out. I put it back in and it still extends into both tubes about 1/4" so I figure it's ok.

    Silver A Bunner Issue

Hello Folks, Dave here. I just rebuilt a Silver A my neighbor gave me. I took apart the burners, used some degreaser and checked the holes with a pin. Put it back together, and now the back burner is not working. Front has a nice flane across, but the back is pretty vacant. Any thoughts?

    My new grates are great!

Hey Justin, What did the grates cost?

    Silver A

Is it even worth considering the Weber stainless steel cooking grates, Part No. 7521. Home Depot's online price is 49.99 and ships free.

    Silver A

Pat, You are so right, the burners look like they just need a good cleaning. The only thing I noticed is the cross tube has detached. One end looks slightly broken off, but there still seem like there is enough tube to slide back into each burner. Maybe 1/4" to 5/16" on both sides. Will this...

    Silver A

I've had my eye on A Weber grill for a long time. My neighbor just gave me his old Silver A. It's about 6 yrs old, but he kept it covered and it's in good shape. It needs flavor bars, cooking grates, burners and a little clean up. Does anyone know if it makes sense to rebuild these? Do they hold...
