    Charmglow Party Host HEJ 1T

Yah, it is one of those childhood memories that stick with you even though to many, it was very insignificant. I am sure if you asked my sisters, they wouldn't even be able to tell you that we had a grill on the back deck growing up. I wasn't really active in grilling growing up, but it was...

    Charmglow Party Host HEJ 1T

Yah, I remember my father buying ceramic plates for it, lava rocks, the ceramic briquets and other stuff. The ceramic plates cracked and fell apart, the lava rocks seemed to gunk up really bad. Eventually he went back to the ceramic briquets. I don't think any other option made grilling any...

    Charmglow Party Host HEJ 1T

That looks exactly like the grill my father had on the back deck except outs was permanent mount to NG. It was put on the deck when the house was built in 1969. It was still out there on the deck when my parents moved in the 1990's

I will just leave this here

No, I don't think so Eric. It looks like they are hosting listing on other sale sites for a commission if it sells. Probably start seeing Ebay adds in FB MP searches pretty soon.

    Frame plug

OK, yah, I understand. It was the igniter button reference that threw me off.

Another bad trend on FB MP. It looks like they are starting to host adds to other sale sites.

    Weber Pulse 2000 going away???

It looks like Weber might be discontinuing this high end electric grill. They are normally priced at least double this price. I imagine the Lumin is the replacement...

It could be added for sure. The problem is sourcing a Right hand slide bar for it. They are very hard to come by.

As mentioned before, it seems to be an issue with those grills. And this one didn't even have an extra sear burner. I am not sure if it was the design of the grills or the fact that they cut back on the thickness of the cook boxes. But it didn't seem to happen to the older B's and 1000's...

Steve, I am not sure what you are talking about. Can you post a photo or two of the situation?

It looks like a pretty nice Sidewinder, until you notice the cook box in the front bottom just above the drip pan being melted. https://madison.craigslist.org/app/d/madison-weber-genesis-burner-side-burner/7889526776.html

I used regular (non high heat) spray paint for my Genesis 1000 frame. Is this ok or do I have to start over?

I am not sure on Krylon, but Rustoleum High heat calls for a burn in period. If you didn't do it before taking your grill up to full temps, that could be an issue as well.

Totally agree. I know that regular paint is fairly resistant to heat. But there are a few spots I would be a bit wary of. I think Jons advice is what I would do in your case. It could be in 5 years, there will be zero issues.

Josh, I am good on the side burners. I have one or two for Genesis 4000/5000 grills but I rarely do a rehab on those anymore any way. Also, Jon has his name on that side serving tray already. Sorry. But, thanks for the offer. I am always open to acquiring some needed rare parts. You might...

    Curb Alert !!!

Yah, and I do think that Weber started using the control panels with the full igniter switch fairly early in the generation. The bare igniter button was only used on the very early Genesis 1 grills as far as I know and after that they used the regular buttons..

    Of all the colors........

Yep, they should probably offer the wood handles as in a premium package.
