    Broilmaster P4 pick-up, test run....

Yah, I was thinking it was part of the older models which mine was. It was mid 70's vintage. And, yes, I imagine the parts are easier to find for a newer version.

Josh, I imagine you already noticed this site in your searches, but this is where I got a lot of the parts I needed for my Broilmaster restore. https://www.bbqparts.com/broilmaster.html

It did seem to be very factory and not a garage cobble job.

Josh, I am not sure that there isn't supposed to be some kind of a damper on that vent in the back. This is a bit older version of the grill, but it had a cover over part of the vent.

Yah, I am not sure either. But that guy has done some work on the grill. Those knobs are not Genesis knobs. I think maybe they are Summit knobs. I actually love that color of "RED". I call it crimson. It is right up there or maybe preferential to Blue for me. If I come across another good...

    Weber Jr??

Good idea Josh. I know both are nearly square instead of the typical rectangular shape.

    Welcome & Conversion Question

Your grill is an E-435, not a 345. That makes a big difference. That will be a tougher manifold to source. However, I have a Genesis II 4 burner propane grill in my back yard that I bought a couple years ago to rehab, but gave up due to the whole bottom of the frame being rotted out. The...

    Genesis 1100 Gas Flow Oddity

Maybe some photos or better yet a video of the issue would help a lot. Barring that, I think you should probably invest in a new set of burners as Steve suggests. Your problem could reside in the burner vents that regulate the intake of air with the gas flow. Or it could be an issue with the...

Seems like a no-brainer to pick up that grill.

That looks like a perfect rehab candidate. Do you know the date of manufacture?

It is probably some setting on the camera app of your phone.

    My Genesis 1000 project

Very well done Steve. Did you cook those donuts in the grill???

Yah, you can tell it is a third generation. It has the cabinet bottom ventilation feature on the left hand side.

Yah, I was pretty proud of that one. I enjoyed rehabbing it, but I would not do another one for flipping. That one probably netted me a $10 per hour return on my labor and with the parts even more scarce these days, it probably would be a losing project.

    Genesis Model and Igniter Help

Weber Genesis E-330 is likely the model. Fixing the igniter is not a big deal. You might have to replace the module, but that shouldn't cost more than about $20.

Good points Josh. The difference between doing keeper grills and rehab/flipper grills is significant. And the way we go about procuring them rehabbing them is sometimes quite a bit different as well.

I agree with Jon. If you are going to do one, I suggest one with wood shelves for you Josh. We all know how you redo wood on a the old Genesis 1000 grills.
