    Go-Anywhere Charcoal - Carry Case

Cutting the cooking grate in half and dropping charcoal grate to the bottom of the grill gives you tons of storage space inside the grill. I've not felt a need for a case.

    Weber Charcoal Discontinued

That's the crazy thing. It seems like the demand for everything grilling related went up last year....since so many more people were staying at home. Hard to believe the demand wasn't there.

Yeah you Canadians are the lucky ones. Appears they didn't discontinue it up there.

    SS Grate for 22" kettle

I think you will be happy with that grate. It doesn't have flip sides, but it's very well built. I am using one as my charcoal grate on my 26" kettle. I asked the guys at Hunsaker if they could make one with flip sides, but they did not seem interested in that when I asked them last year.

    SS Grate for 22" kettle

Here are a couple older posts you might want to read. I own the KillaGrilla, SnS EasySpin, and the basic Hunsaker SS grate. Hunsaker is very nice if you don't need flip sides. KillaGrilla is a tank and certainly the better built grate that I imagine will last longer. Thicker SS rods. It's my...

Picked up a SS Performer. Restoration to be started this weekend

John NJ, You've got burn-through on that bowl. That happens when you bank the hot charcoal against the side of the kettle...if you do that a lot for years, that's what happens. Not really a fix for it, just worn out unfortunately. I had a Performer with a similar issue. I ended up buying a...

FB Find: EX4 in NC, $500

With the right tools, I bet that Kamado would have fit in just about any vehicle! I've certainly fit some pretty large grills in my wife's 2 door Accord before.

FB Find: EX4 in NC, $500

There is an brand new EX6 in Atlanta for $600. The smaller ones pop up for $500 pretty often. Usually they are new or at least unused...maybe it's people buying store returns and reselling them?

Picked up a SS Performer. Restoration to be started this weekend

No worries on the bolts that hold the bowl to the frame. Take them off and toss them. Replace with new bolt, nut, washers. You might want to reuse the black washers. The bolts that hold the burner tube on to the bowl are usually a huge PIA. I usually use a ratchet on 1 side and vice grip on the...

Any Tips for making Smash Burgers? Using Campchef SG30 Griddle on Genesis

Glad you guys like it! It's my most often used one too. I have this one too. It's a longer version that is not so stiff. I pretty much only use it when I've got stuff on the griddle like hash browns or stir-fry/rice. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E19PDW/?tag=tvwb-20

Ordering one today. Do they run pretty true to size? Pretty safe to assume these are not athletic / muscle cut? :)

    Crisp chicken skin

I've also read a few people cook hot and fast ribs using a similar method I described above. Except I'm not sure they do the baking powder part. And they cut the ribs apart from each other into single bone/pieces. I've not been brave enough to try this yet.

    Crisp chicken skin

I just made vortex wings tonight. Crispy skin, juicy inside. Wife said they were my best yet…I thought they were good, but not my best. Rinse wings Dry with paper towel Lightly toss in aluminum free baking powder Put on sheet pan, lightly cover with parchment paper or foil Let it sit in the...
