    Blue Performer Bowl and Lid

It's the same porcelain enamel as all the other kettles. So cleaning is no different. If it were a Q or fire box on gas grill, and the cast aluminum was ivory color, then I'd agree that works be hard to keep clean.

Experienced collectors, users & restorers, when is the best time of year to buy a used grill . . . ?

There isn't really a time I've noticed where both supply is at it's peak and prices are at the low point. Usually in the winter months the prices are pretty low because the average person isn't in the market to buy or use a grill, but not as many used grills for sale in the winter. And this...

    Gen 2 Performer questions

The gen 2 lid bale is kind of a pain, I totally agree. You can upgrade it to the newer style that tilts the lid back.... Weber part 65188 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WH3B72K/?tag=tvwb-20 or you can get the Unknow BBQ hinge. My primary cooker is a PK360 and one of my favorite features is the...

    Gen 2 Performer questions

The lid and bowls from all 22" kettles and Performers should all be interchangeable. Some of the kettles have those hooks inside the lid, which isn't needed on a Mastertouch or Performer. I haven't noticed older lids being deeper than newer ones, but it's possible. I don't know anyone that...

New Weber Summit Kamado E6 - Lid misaligned

When you have something shipped to your house, the package takes a totally different route to get there. If it's a grill (large box), it'll get tossed on and off the irreg (irregular) belt multiple times depending on how far it's going. It'll likely always be the bottom box when loaded on to a...

    Question about Performer grill

I called every propane place in North Georgia and none would do a tank recertification on a small consumer tank. They only did them on those huge ones that some people have at their homes. From what other people have said, it sounds pretty cheap/easy to get the tank recertified in other states...

    Question about Performer grill

For that older style Performer, the tank is always the on/off value. There is no fancy knob on those, just a hole to reach down and turn tank value.

Broom Stick handles for my Weber Go-Anywhere.

I have a few times. I don't think it's his primary job. So sometimes it takes a bit to answer questions. It's worth the wait though. Top notch handles

    Q at Costco

Bbq tool hooks are way better on the 320 than 3200. At least I think so.

There might be something wrong with me

I keep looking at the PKGO as a travel grill. It's so cool how the lid can double as a "second grill" to double grilling surface. Very expensive though. My current travel grill is the Weber Go Anywhere and I really enjoy cooking on it.

    SnS Kettle...

I'm sure it's a nice product. Hard to drop that kind of money though. $325/365 for a new one is a lot for a stand-alone kettle. That's in the range of a new 26" Weber kettle. I do love using the SnS in my Performer though. I also use it in my 26"er. Wish SnS made something for the...

    New here need advice.

If you are a little worried about buying it and not liking it, do like Joe said and try to find a used one off Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. You should be able to find an 18" for around $100. Get one, smoke with it a few times, if you don't like it, then sell it for what you bought it...

    Had a great week!

Wow, that's crazy to buy that many from one person. Probably an estate sale or something? That is really cool. Hopefully they last long enough so you can tell those stories when you pass them down to the next person.
