For those who restore Weber Grills and like to keep their parts organized these are excellent. I use the Milwaukee version but for $10 bucks this Dewalt version looks like a winner...

Spirit 700 needs new legs (or perhaps shoes)

The Cook Box on the Spirit 700 is the shallow 5 Flavorizer Bar Box. A Series B frame would probably work. Jeff

Spirit 700 needs new legs (or perhaps shoes)

See here for my Spirit 700 restore- https://tvwbb.com/threads/weber-spirit-700.71307/ I think I removed around" 2 inches or so off the bottom of the frame. Just grab some of these and measure the difference. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WEKMRU/?tag=tvwb-20 Jeff

Spirit 700 needs new legs (or perhaps shoes)

Richard, How far up the legs is the rust? If only at the very bottom you can cut off a small piece and add the casters like I did with my Spirit 700 and make it like it's big Brother, the Genesis 1000. Jeff

    Platinum I rehab done!😅

Joanne, Beautuful job restoring your Weber. It's ready for it's next 20 years of life. Wanted to mention to you that your grill is a Platinum 1 model. The Platinum 2 version uses the beefier Summit frame and several differences like the larger btu side burner. Platinum 1: Platinum 2: Jeff

Weber 2700 NOT MINE Part 2

Bruce, That does look clean. I still have my new Flame in the box sitting in the cellar when my current one fails. I think I'll be gone before the Flame does :) Jeff

Weber 2700 NOT MINE Part 2

Why do people continue to use my Weber Flame picture? Can't they use one of their own? Makes me think that theirs is not in the greatest of condition. Jeff

That feeling when you know what is about to happen next will be amazing....

I got mine from a local hardware store but the ones Bruce pointed out are probably much cheaper but you typically have to buy in bulk to offset the Shipping cost. Jeff

1993 Genesis 1000 Manifold Thumb Screws

I had a couple of Weber's that use the thumb screws. I used a torch to lighly heat the cookbox around the screws and a pair of Vice Grips. Worked like a charm. Jeff
