Fresh. They sell them in boxes. and you have choice of Italian sausages or Bratwurst. IDK where and forgot when, but posted photos of the boxes. IIRC they're in 3 or 4lb boxes.

    Searwood - Yea or Nay?

I think the heat is generated differently in the WSM or WSK because the combustion is closer to the food. In any case as noted I am a firm proponent of leave it alone. Less = more. More flavor, more bark, better cook. On a larger cut say a large brisket about midway in I MIGHT open the lid to...

Summit B4 gets its first Wash after Restoration (after 2 years)

Any oil will work against rusting due to it displacing moisture. But moisture is not the enemy of that lid liner. Those literally corrode away due to exposure of so much heat opening up the metal pores and then condensation getting into it when it cools. No amount of "coating" with oil is gonna...

Lazy Old Weber Guy Here - Thinking of the Searwood: What's all the fuss over Grill Marks?

It's too bad Jon the DS grates I have in the Wolf don't fit in Big Z or Members Mark. LOL if they did Wolfy would be in real trouble :D

You won't be sorry. Thanks Jim for the tip. When I can I've been buying the Sumatra product. Darker roast but not to the point of becoming oily. Been a good product. I'll try to check it out. If I do I will post out in the other coffee beans thread

While linseed oil may not be directly applied the bun off of it is gonna make food taste like paint. Honestly just get the angle or die grinder out and cut that liner out. It's really not needed for much more than cosmetics

Gonna try something new on Big Z

Also doing something I almost never do. Enjoying a rare midweek cocktail. A light one. Small shot of Kirkland 12 Yo Scotch and lots of small cubed ice from my Samsung fridge icemaker with some home carbonated sparkling water. So so nice. Quiet evening warm, grill is in cooldown generating a bit...

Any office workers grill/cook at work?

I was a field service tech for many many years. It was not unusual for me to wrap up leftovers in heavy layer of foil, and toss it on my intake manifold. Just the right amount of heat there. Hey it worked

So I've been reading a lot about a different twist on doing wings. 0-400. Where you fire up your pellet grill, as soon as it lights off you stick the seasoned wings in the grill and set it to 400. Apparently they get some good smoke and then a good "crisp". IDK if anyone here has done it but in...
