    Weber Homemade Pizza Oven

Nice setup. May have to try to build one of these. I'm not to handy at building things but I did manage to build a table for my grilling area. Maybe I can do this.

    Looking for advice w/Smokenator & 1st smoke

I actually dug out my smokenator and have been using it a lot lately. I have been using it more than my ceramic grill or other indirect ways on my kettle, results have been great with ribs. The water pan really gives my kettle a real moist environment. I thought 60 briquettes used to do ribs was...

    Pizza

Looks good Don. Thanks for sharing. I have the same stone setup. I will have to try that this evening. I thought maybe the stone was to big and caused air flow issue but your pies look great. I'll give it a go.

    18.5" One touch and Smokenator?

I have one. Don't use it a lot but I want to start using it a little more. Works great for me. I fill the whole thing up with charcoal and use a bigger water pan on top. It makes a real moist enviroment in the kettle. Nothing like any other way I smoke on the kettle. I have been using the ring...

Have you made a second tier

I bought two tier adjustable grate. I had one for my ceramic and once he came out for them with the kettle I had to get one. Pricey but I wanted a cast iron grate and this cooks like cast iron and plus I get a second tier. These are great grates.

Thanks Shaun. That pizza was actually cooked on a metal pan. I have a square cast iron griddle and those pizza turn out beter. I don't preheat my cast iron. Although I just used my new enameled coated stone and it gave a great crispy bottom and chewy middle. I preheated my stone in the oven...

    Char-Griller Kamado Kooker

The newer model has some changes to improve from last years model. Here is a review from one guy. He also has a 3rd video. If I didn't have a ceramic grill already I would pick one up to add with my Weber Kettle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmWZ7h-aZdw...

    Trimming Flat Irons

The one above I posted was one big hunk, just sliced down the middle along the vein and then cut to how big you want. For $3.84 a pound I thinks it's worth it.

    kettle smoking 101 ......

I use a few different methods. The fire brick works great. I also like making a 3/4 quarter fire ring of coals and throwing about 6 or 8 lit coals on one end.
