I have never seen the weber fade so bad as I have this year. I think the newer grills are even more susceptible to it than the old ones.

Val, I think maybe something is binding on the slider. Otherwise it should drop down into that notch very easily.

I use Rustoleum Rust reformer in place of any kind of primer. It acts much like a primer but will help mitigate any small spots of rust that were missed. Also, the Rustoleum 2x paints and Ultra High Heat are designed to be applied directly to bare metal.

No, that has been listed only 3 weeks. Notice that when the photo the inside of the cabinet, they move the container of utensils strategically in front of the open area of the cabinet.....likely to hide the rust.

The end handle may not come out no matter if there is a tab or not. Besides, I find that if the handle is not rusted in, it will come out, tab or no no tab. But if the handle is froze inside the frame, it won't matter if you push up the tab or not. So, you have a choice. Keep whacking the...

Well, then it is likely frozen in due to rust. You are probably going to have to sacrifice the frame or the end handle.

Yah, that one probably doesn't have the locking tabs. It is likely just plain stuck. I find that is usually the left one that is the toughest to get out of the two. I wish you luck.

The Upper Midwest is definitely harder on grills than most other areas.
