Genesis 2000 side burner orifice thread size

I would guess it is 1/4-32 as the M6 denotes a metric fitting I am pretty sure. I think it unlikely that Weber would have been using metric fittings back in the 90's.

They can be a huge rabbit hole. They are not easily rehabbed, but it can be done. And it can get expensive.

Is anyone else having problems with FB MP searches. I have mine set to 60 mile radius and a search for "weber" gives me zero local results. That cannot be right. There are weber grills listed withing a few miles of me. It has been like this for two days now and I have tried different...

Just received my new valve in the mail. Does it look like it will work along with my old valves?

Another thing to consider is that some Genesis valves have a 3/4 sweep and some less.

I just thought it was funny that it was listed so long ago that it had snow on it. It kinda gave me PTSD.

Quick partial disassembly of Weber genesis 1000

I honestly think you could blast a cook box in two end caps in less than a half hour. My guy charges me fifty for all of that

    Size is not important........

It is only about 15 miles off the interstate. Good luck on your trip. If you want to stop by and say high, I am only 2 miles off the interstate.

Quick partial disassembly of Weber genesis 1000

No, not me. They discontinued them at least a year ago. I have not used them nearly as much in the last 3-4 years since I started having my stuff sand blasted. But I use them occasionally these days. I have a surplus store in my area that carries some decent ones, but they are $6-7 each.

Quick partial disassembly of Weber genesis 1000

No problem. Harbor Freight used to sell them for $3.99. I am not sure why they discontinued them.

They didn't even do that on the SS Platinums or the Summits, except for the second gen platinums.

Stick with crimped. But I would look for 4" cup brushes. HF used to carry them but has since discontinued them. https://www.amazon.com/Eco-Walker-Stripping-Conditioning-Threaded/dp/B0CSN39VFH?tag=tvwb-20
