I sure did. I taped the spot on my bro's Q200 with painters tape and started with my smallest drill bit. Then just kept enlarging the hole with each larger bit till the thermo fit. One thing to note is that the 00 series Q's do not have an indent for the thermo like the 20 series grills. Also...

I fully agree with George. The GA gas can not compete with the Q in terms of how it cooks. The Q has more consistent heat, gets hotter, has better grates, and is more wind resistant. The Q is also MUCH easier to clean. With that said, the go anywhere is much smaller making it more portable and...

Good morning George, The only mod's I've ever done to a Q has been to add a thermo. I haven seen painted lids, which is tempting, but I suck at evenly applying spraypaint.

I've cleaned a few Q's that I've bought as gifts off craigslist with oven cleaner. They do have a version that claims to be fume free. The standard oven cleaner has always worked like a charm for me. Just spray it on, let it sit for an hout or so, and wipe that blackness right off. Takes it...

Chad-- On your wsm, does the clay saucer replace the water pan or sit in it? I'm trying to visualize if it sits on the wsm water pan brackets or if it's just in the pan. What size saucer do you use?
