    WSM 22.5 Gasket Installlation

ok just got my CB door and gasket kit. has anyone put the gasket on the inside of the door instead of the outside of the smoker body? also, on the newer WSM models is the consensus to put the bottom gasket on the center body and not the base?

Simple Maverick transmitter/ stoker table with lid holder

That's really nice. I did something similar, hanging a shelf off the rim supported against the side by a strip of felt. No lid hanger on mine. But 3 attachment points with heavy duty hardware is really nice.

    My version of a wsm-table

That's amazing. The details I notice - 3 hinges, not 2. The holes in the rings for the feet to prevent water from pooling, not one but 3 (again). Table is secured with knobs to allow removal and cleaning. That's one of the best designed products I've seen, DIY or commercial.

    My first turkey!

Yep, I think it's lucky 2013 for the Pack. Meadowlands 2014. Jim I filled the WSM charcoal chamber full, level not heaping, with Kingsford and maybe 5 apple chunks mixed in. Then I lit about 1/2 a chimney and dumped on top center. Filled pan a little over half with hot water. I don't foil...
