Does anybody know how well the 22" cover fits on the 22"? Is that a tight fit as well?

That hadn't occurred to me...is the fact that I chose the 22" with free shipping the reason it is taking longer? My ship date is still Jan 20-Feb 2. If I change the shipping method will that speed things up?

One other question. Where are you getting foil large enough to foil that pan without a seam?

So do you think that adding more fuel will be a necessity for 12+ hour cooks on the 22.5"? Or do you think tweaking the vent dampers is still something to consider?

Also was difficulty in finishing the pork butts to do more with the out of round condition or just that the larger unit simply consumes more fuel?

I am blown away by how thorough this website is put together. As soon as it is available I will be purchasing the 22" WSM. How well will your extensive cooktimes/recipes apply to this unit? Have you had a chance to determine how quickly it goes through fuel compared to the 18"?
