    Double Chuck Sunday Surprise !

My brother is visiting today from CA so thought some BBQ sandwiches were the play. Hot here, mid 90’s. Got these going early. Prepped The Huntsman and got things rolling around 7:45 with some post oak and cherry. After five hours I wrapped and moved them over to my Gold B. Very short stall at...

Rack Of Pork on the WSK E6

I would lean more towards 350 with a shoot up to 375 if you need to get a good crust on it. Enjoy that cooker!

    Belly and a Butt

Hey Tim! I'm loving the Venom. For long cooks it really makes life easy which I am appreciating more and more these days! Plus it can go very low, like 150-160 degrees, with just a few degrees of fluctuation.

New (old) kettle at the cabin. Let's do some pizza! And steak!

A friend gave me an F code (1984) red kettle. I got some new handles for it. Brought it to the cabin to replace an older kettle with some bum legs. Got the pizza 🍕 fever so here we go! Did one on my stone but had some sticking issues so switched to the CI. This margherita was the appetizer for...

New The Huntsman Kettle Kamado Grill from Spider coming.

Sorry Jon, that is a bummer to hear this. I will say that the Huntsman does impart more smoke than any other cooker I have used. I love it, but it is not for everyone. Best of luck to you on the next cooker.

    Stars & Stripes Kettle

I give Weber a lot of credit for rolling out something new. More of that kind of innovation is needed going forward. I saw that the deal with Blackstone was finalized so hopefully that will lead to some other new concepts.

    Drumming to Monday

Another long day of baseball and a sweep of the cross town rivals called for drumettes. It also called for a cold beer!Mixed these with some of my Santa Maria rub then added another rub right after i put them on. Also did some broccoli on the Gold B. Got the Performer setup with some Cowboy and...
