Interesting I have never had any type of mold on any of my grills which are covered maybe its the cover you chose really don't know the Silver C, the Performer and my UDS are all covered.

I would have thought and again I am from the south that the rust problems have mostly gone away even where you live. Since I have lived here though and I am from Boston bought maybe 4 used cars in Atlanta all found on Autotrader I never considered a car used that was not from the south.

Mine either went stemless many years ago after breaking about every one of the ones with stems on the granite counters. I think we might have 5 or 6 crystal ones with stems that are in a cabinet with a glass door for looks would not even dream of using them.

Not gonna happen Masterbuilt had the patent and they are owned along with Chargriller, Kamado Joe and many other grills are owned by Middleby which is a huge company. We had this discussion a year or so ago IMO the market would not be big enought for Weber anyway and they have their own issues...
