Marinated drumsticks in Asian sweet w/ heat mixup on the WSM. Bacon wrapped tater tots with a wedge of "hot" Hatch green chile. Tater tots crisped up and ready for serving Drumsticks done - wonderful color/smoke from the WSM Plated with wok wilted spinach - garlic olive oil Family thumbs up!

Spaten is one of the few Marzen style beers that I can drink a full glass of - it has good body and just a tiny bit of bite to offset the sweet malts.

I've been on a quest the last couple of years to find Spaten Oktoberfest - nary a bottle in the San Diego area. This year, my local Total Wines had a single case in their last shipment - wasn't even out on the shelves yet. I took 2 6 packs home. It may be a wee bit early for celebrating, but...
