Ever heard of the Weber 22.5" Compact Kettle

I had a Weber Compact here in Belgium. I saw it for half price so I thought I may as well try it... but I ended up not liking it and gave it away. Its fine if you want to cook sausages and burgers all the time but I was trying to do larger indirect cooks with spotty success. The coals are just...

Adding 3rd grate to 18" WSM

I took a spare grate and using stainless steel threaded rod, some large stainless washers and stainless nuts made some "legs". Another set of washers and nuts creates feet that rest on the bottom grate. You can see some photos (sorry no closeup and you'll have to search through them) here One...

    cleaning water pan

I have always just covered the bottom and then used detergent to clean out the inside... ...but after reading this I just thought of an idea. Has anyone ever just put a piece of foil over the bowl after it is filled with water? Dripping fat collects in on the top piece of foil (which is sort of...

Anyone else have a grilling "tool box"?

I have an extra empty toolbox and my barbecue tools are spread all around.... hmm... why couldn't I have thought about that earlier! I guess I now have a BBQ toolbox.

screen caps of the Weber iphone app

unfortunately for me they are not selling it in the Belgian iTunes store and I no longer have a US credit card, so I can't shop in the US store. Why would they do that? I think its just a tick box when you submit apps to the iTunes store... "where do you want this to be sold".

    my dream grill

Just had to say that I purchased my dream grill on saturday. A apple-green 22.5" OTP. You can still find them new here in europe... in fact it was at a store about 150 yards from my house. I could hear it calling me at night from the shop window. I am not a fan of the gas assist in the performer...

    Weber Family Portraits

Well, I have a photo on my blog of my current line-up. Technically they are not all at my house, but I did acquire all of them and spread them around the houses where I am responsible for the grilling. You could also add a 18.5" weber one touch compact to my list too if that helps your cause...

    get yers now

I'm getting jealous. I have to wait for the 18.5" version to come out. Don't think I can sneak a 22.5" kettle past the wife since I already have a few grills.

    Grape Wood

Grape-vine is now my go-to wood for poultry. I had a blog post about it a couple months ago. It is pretty mild but has a nice sweetness to it. Try it and let us know how it turned out for you.

My first stab at Stuffed Pork Tenderloin + a non-stuffed Tenderloin!

Very nice looking! I just did my first stuffed pork loin as well. I do pork loins all the time (my most requested item) and wanted to do something different... so I tried my hand at stuffing. Completely different approach than you, but next time I'm gonna try something similar to yours. For the...

    get yers now

Nice, they're adding a version for 18.5" grills! I'll probably be ordering one of those.. but directly through the german manufacturer. Hmmm... I don't see any info on the 18.5" version on their german site.
