TonyUK, how's the quality of the cover? I like your suggestion, but I want one that will last a few years, not buy one every year.

    Any Jumbo's on clearance yet??

My local Targets had very limited Weber products this year and I didn't see any Jumbo Joes.

    no one?

I use my Q220 on week nights because it heats up quickly. I do sliders, chicken wings, spatchcock chicken and veggies. I think its the perfect size for a family of 4. I bring it car camping with a 10lb. tank which is excellent with a propane tree .

Time to stock up on Kingsford Blue

Wow !!! Thanks for all the replies. I agree that it all depends on how much/often folks cook. Living in a tight subdivision my neighbors see/smell my cooks a few times each week. Now that I know these sales come before Memorial Day, then before Labor Day I can plan how much I need. The lump for...

Time to stock up on Kingsford Blue

When these twin packs go on sale, how much are people buying? I remember seeing a thread where people are posting huge (20+ bags) stockpiles. I bought a twin pack plus a bag of Royal Oak ($7 for 15lb).

Royal Oak Lump at Home Depot - Today only $7.88

I bought a bag of the Royal Oak for my smoker and the 2 bag Kingsford deal. Really glad to see this is already posted here. I'm set for a while since my smoker doesn't use much lump and my Jumbo Joe only needs about 30 briquettes for each of my cooks.

Weber Q 320 for 250 NIB its ok?

The price is good, I agree with everyone and go for it. I love hearing people reselling their Webers. They are built to last and everything can be replaced if need be. Enjoy your new (to you) Weber !!!

    Jumbo Joe grate size?

I have a Jumbo Joe and I bought the Weber 7433 2 weeks ago from Target. The Weber 7433 fits perfectly on the Jumbo Joe. This new grate is a great addition in case you want to add more briquettes/wood and is a heavier gauge.

    Jumbo Joe at Walmart

Woohoo! $40 is a great price for a new Jumbo Joe. I use mine all the time, you're going to love it. I recommend going back to Walmart and see if you can get a hinged grate on sale. Have fun with it and report back on your Jumbo Joe cooks :)

Made a cone for the Smokey Joe

I did a few wings boneless skinless breasts (cut and whole) on my JJ with my steam basket. It worked out well. After 30 minutes I kept checking temps since this is my first time. I think the concept is the same as your cone. Family really liked the smoky, juiciness of the breasts, I did too...
