    Flooring over concrete.

BOTH rebar and fiber? Sounds like a bit of overkill, but I sure wouldn't complain about it either.

    Flooring over concrete.

Re: fiberglass. It's a choice between rebar & fiber. I suspect there's a bit of a load concern, but your garage will be lightly loaded. Dad's storage shed (about 40'x70') was poured with fiber reinforcing, and it's held up just fine to ag equipment. The original shop was poured in 1967 with 3...

    New Television

And you were stylin'! We have a 10 year old (or more) 55" 4k Vizio, a very early 4k model. I could probably mount an 80-85" display if I rearrange things, but our viewing distance is only about 12' max. At least for the moment, I don't have any real reason to replace it as it's working pretty...

    Beer.

I'm happy with rain at 35 degrees or higher, or snow at 25 degrees or lower. That in between nonsense is for the birds. Forecast for the next week has an overnight low or two at -20 F.

    Lots of Excitement Last Night!

Larry, I remarked to one of Dad's brothers 20+ years ago at other family's funeral services that doggone it, every time we all get together, there's one less, and we should do something about that. He chuckled and agreed. Right now, only only Dad's youngest brother is left, and you bet your...

    Small Coffee Maker

That'd be in indication to me that whatever has taken up residence isn't inside the water circuit, but somewhere else in the housing. Likely not cleanable without a full disassembly, IMO.

I'm thinking I need to score an invite to one of your shindigs. I think you're fine on the proteins.

    Small Coffee Maker

I hear ya on the hotel coffee makers. I've gotten to the point that I won't really consider making coffee in them, with what I'm reading about hotel guests using them for, lack of cleaning, etc. I'll go get a cup of the life giving juice at a local coffee shop. Oh, and hippo birdie to the missus.

    Lots of Excitement Last Night!

There was a situation here in town a couple of years ago, where a shelter in place order was enacted. Make sure all doors & windows were locked, and stay out of eyesight. Hostage situation, discovered to be self-resolved when the Bearcat armored vehicle breached. I was the only one home but...

    Lots of Excitement Last Night!

:( My g/f & I have both been without our parents (only 4, amazingly enough,) for 10+ years. None of this has ever been easy, but as time has passed, I appreciate how much thought & effort my folks put into their end of lives.

Anyone else love grilling in sub freezing temps?

I hear ya. In the space of a month, I went from a low of -10 (maybe a bit lower) to a high of 54, and back down to -11.

    Weber Q1200 regulator delete

There has to be a regulator somewhere in the plumbing. If there wasn't, you've have a real fire issue. Based on your description, I have to wonder if you have a low PSI regulator at the tank. If the grill uses a high PSI regulator, you'll have a far lower BTU output than you expect. Only...

Does anyone care about today's game?

<shrug> I haven't watched any pro sports in years. It's actually up to 19 F, with a light breeze here and very bright sunshine. It would be a nice day to grill.... hrrrrm. I do have stuff to make pressure cooker pot roast, may hold that for tomorrow when the temperature plunges. 2 dogs...
