Advice please - OTG vs Performer

I guess I'll continue with the wonky setup. Who knows, maybe I'll come in to money and get a bigger house. Thanks for the feedback!

Advice please - OTG vs Performer

Hey, So I currently have a 2 year old performer with gas assist. Space in my grilling area is limited, so I've taken out the charcoal storage, and now the performer table is stacked on top of the adjacent Silver B table. It looks a little crazy, but works, as I have 1 large prep area between...

A never-before-seen grill! FS in Toronto

Not from experience - but from research, the kamado joe has a system called divide and conquer - which offers a two zone system. It fits the bge. I'd use it for what I do now on the grill and hopefully smoke briskets etc. Another allure is 1000 degree for pizza. Very sexy.

A never-before-seen grill! FS in Toronto

Jeff - even though it's super cool, I'm not in the market. I have a Silver B and a Charcoal Performer, and real estate is limited in the backyard, so the extra space for side burner is non-existent. I notice that you have a BGE, Kettle and Gasser. I'm debating getting rid of my performer and...

So, I attempted to disassemble my original B, but the screw holding the cookbox in place was either rusted away or stripped. I don't have any tools here to saw the bolt, so left it alone. Every part on the DD model was in better shape - including the cart. I swapped out the plastic burner...

And another question - the grates look exactly like this Is it safe to assume they're enameled cast iron, or do other grates have exactly this form factor? (extremely heavy)

Silver B - which cook box to keep?

Hi, My first post - trying to find information on the web this specific has proved challenging, so I'm delighted to find this community. I've had a (pre-owned) Silver B for several years, and the burner and grates were ready to be replaced - I also needed new castors, as mine did not have any...
