    Thermocouple Board Success (sort of)

I have some of the thermocouple boards that were at one time meant to be added on to the 4.1.2 ? boards, that I worked on with Bryan. I can send you a couple if that will help, call it a breakout board for the AD8495 with screw terminal and/or the proper themocouple jack. By removing the pull-up...

    The Development Log

Yes the fit is made to be very tight so that a good connection is made. Any resistance at the junction will make the reading inaccurate.

    HM 4.1 LCD failure?

If the above does not work try this... If you can see the text when held at an angle it is probably a contrast issue. If you have a voltmeter you can check the center pin of the trimpot to ground if you turn it one way the voltage should go down, if you turn it the other way the voltage should...

Damper for Higher CFM fan Available??

I was going to use the fan with a DC-DC ssr to boost the power needed, but as usual I am over-building. My though was a 10 cfm fan is used and my smoker is 10 times bigger than a WSM so 100 cfm sounded good at the time. What do you think would be a good size fan for my smoker, 30 to 50 cfm?

Damper for Higher CFM fan Available??

Since the fan is pwm controlled it is better to have more power available than be under powered. my smoker is a reverse flow 6 feet long 24 inch diameter. not sure how much flow I will need so I am thinking big. for the price I can't go wrong. If I get bored maybe I can make the smoker fly...
