    Egg McFrank w/corned beef

Looks dang good! I tried frying up an egg using a biscuit cutter as a mold, but the egg ran out from under. Going to try that mason jar trick next time.

    Smothered chicken tacos

 Looks delicious. I was telling myself today I have to make chicken tacos soon! I see the Rick Bayless book in the background, it is a good one! We visited his restaurant here in L.A. and it was pretty darn good upscale Mexican food. As for the Negra Modela - good pick!

Dustin' off the rust - BBQ Short Ribs

The cake was made by my wife - she loves baking as much as I love grilling and BBQ'ing. It was strawberry shortcake. Myself wife said it was a recipe from a Pioneer Woman Cookbook. The red squares are birdhouses my kids made at The Home Depot during one for the free kids workshops the host.

    Throwdown #19: Beef Short Ribs

Keep It Simple Beef Short Ribs with Homemade BBQ Sauce First stab at Beef Short Ribs. Was fun to participate. Good luck to all! These were labled as Chuck Beef Ribs at Stater Bros. Decided to use a simple rub of pepper and salt. Put the ribs overnight in the fridge and pulled them out an...

Dustin' off the rust - BBQ Short Ribs

Beef short ribs turned out pretty good. The Wife made some salad with walnuts, dried cranberries, feta cheese, and white vinaigrette dressing. Got a few more hours for the ribs to be done, so my wife told me I have time to make some homemade BBQ sauce from one of Steven Raichlen's books.

    Hello from Los Angeles

Hello to all! I had an old account, but could not access it and have not used it in over a year and a half. Never posted much, but have been a long time lurker. The kids (three of them) have been keeping me busy, but I got the grilling and smoking bug again and decided to re-join the group...

Dustin' off the rust - BBQ Short Ribs

I have been trolling and reading and sitting around way too long. Woke up Saturday morning and decided Sunday was the day to get back into BBQ mode after a year and a half of off and on grilling and smoking. Since I use read this board regularly, but rarely contribute - I had an old account...
