Need advice on cook in WSM

I don't have the 18 but have read that 3 can fit but you may have to set them on end and use skewers to connect them to keep them from falling over the timing shouldn't be that much different providing they're all about the same size oh and by the way the butts were 8 lbs. apiece.

    WSM wings

As if my craving for some wings wasn't bad enough, I love chicken off the WSM and it's funny, the first time I did a batch of nothing but wings I had guys at the shop going bonkers because they've never had smoked wings.

UK Based - heat sink options - anyone have any successful experiences to share?

I just took a piece of tin foil large enough to cover the door back when folded in half and put the door back on then tucked what little that stuck out back in around the edge, works pretty good. The 2 plates did work but when I found out 1 works just as well and the plates really doesn't weigh...

UK Based - heat sink options - anyone have any successful experiences to share?

I'm another steel plate user, it's not as fancy as Robert R's it's just a 10ga steel disk foiled that sits down inside the bowl a couple of inches, I didn't want something to absorb heat just deflect the direct heat, being it sits inside the bowl it does create a nice air pocket between the...

    Big kid and Video games

I really liked The last of Us and hope they come out with a part 2 and Uncharted 4 looks like another good one. I was doing fine with Mad Max until it came to the death race you have to win, seems I'm a bit of a lousy driver in races ... :) ...got one heck of a village going with my grand...

    Big Green Egg design

"Does the bottle of Jack come with it? " I was thinking it was Don Eduardo tequila by the cap color and shape , got a bottle of it in the fridge, either way I imagine you'd have to be half gassed to try this.

    black friday hauls?

I'll agree with you about The Last of Us, I wouldn't let my granddaughter even watch let alone play, There is one we got called Knack which is pretty good and not really violent by any stretch and of course there is always Minecraft but from what I've seen most are shoot em up games even Shadow...

    WARNING !! Highly addictive gaming

I mentioned awhile back that I got a PS4 for my birthday and picked up Minecraft for my granddaughter because she and my wife like to play on the computer, well during Thanksgiving while my granddaughter and I were off we played, yep, easy to get hooked, simple fun and a pleasant way to pass...

    black friday hauls?

Sandy, is the PS4 for you or the kids I ask because I'm curious about the Uncharted game, it looks interesting like a cross between Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones.

    Question about meat drippings

Steven, that would be the best solution yet but wouldn't all the other wild wood beasties be wanting a taste, I mean I have raccoons, squirrels, opossums, hawks and God knows what else crittering around.

    Question about meat drippings

Thanks for your input, I may try gravy just to see even though the Yorkshire pudding and explosives sound interesting, I just had to ask though, I've been looking at the grease puddle in the bottom of the bowl after every cook and always wondered if it couldn't be used for something but not...

    Question about meat drippings

Red neck style Yorkshire pudding mmmmm, but I was hoping to hear something like it could be used for making a roux or gravy

    Question about meat drippings

I should have made the question a little clearer, I'm referring to the drippings in the catch pan, I had clean foil before the cook and when I was finished this time I pored the grease into a bowl to cool, after it set up it looked a lot like the bacon grease my granny use to keep on the stove...
