I just picked up a bag the other day but have not used it yet. Has anyone else tried it yet? I may do a smoke on Saturday, time permitting.

That just answered the only question I had about this grill, how to modify the ring to fit the Coleman bottles. Just bought my 120 and I just love it! Thanks for the info.

    Can't find wood for flavoring

In my area, Fred Meyer (Owned by Kroger) carries cherry chunks....Nice, big pieces. If you have a Kroger nearby, try them. Also, try Home Depot. Hope this helps. Steve

home depot hardwood charcoal briquettes, $3 for 20lbs

Hi all, Did two butts on Saturday with a 50/50 mix of K and Rancher. After a 13+ hour cook, it was still burning strong. Next time, I'm going to go with all Rancher. Very impressed! Steve

    What are you smoking?

Hi again, Almost forgot to mention that I used a combo of Kingsford and Rancher charcoal, and at the end of the cook (about 13 hours) it was still burning strong. Next time, I'll give it a shot with all Rancher's. Steve

home depot hardwood charcoal briquettes, $3 for 20lbs

I've been cooking with this charcoal for a couple days now, and I think that it kicks up too much ash for grilling, but maybe it will work out better in the WSM. I'll be trying it out with two butts in the morning. Steve

home depot hardwood charcoal briquettes, $3 for 20lbs

Hi all, I just picked up two bags this morning from HD, and fired up a chimney full. Definitely kicks up more ash than K, but seems to burn hotter. I'm grilling up a ribeye soon, we'll see how it goes. Can't beat the price @5 bucks a bag for 20 pounds! I either missed the sale, or it was not...

    Roadside Chicken

I tried this yesterday and it was some of the best chicken I've ever had. The smell of it cooking reminded me of salmon being grilled at the Puyallup Fair! I've been lurking here for quite awhile, but this chicken was so good, I just had to say so. Thanks for the great recipe. Steve Proud...
