I've never seen corn on cob done like this, I have for years cooked frozen corn in milk and butter. It makes the corn taste as fresh as the day it was picked! This version looks good, and just may have to try it once corn season comes around.
Too bad I'm not in Modesto yet, this would be just the ticket I'm looking for! I want a kettle and a gasser to have while I'm down there for probably most of the summer.
I've had one for 20 years? or so, like some have said, works great and no smell of Garlic on hands! I have used a small glass or small canning jar and shook garlic as well.
