Angus Tri Tip = the most AMAZING beef I ever had

A few years back, I bought Weber's Charcoal Grilling book. There was an article about 2 dudes called the Dueling Bubba's, and it showed there version of tri tip, which was prepared like a brisket. Being from NJ, I had never heard of or seen a tri tip. Regardless, it was something that I...

High Heat Brisket: Best yet, with pics

Good looking brisket. I did a HH brisket once, but just the flat. I overcooked it, but I think that I would have better success, like you, with a full packer. Great job!

Weekend is almost here! Tri Tip... maybe

Well, I picked up an 18 lb. or so cryovac of TT. What to do, what to do? They look bigger than I thought they would be. Once they're out of the package, and I can see the size, I'll decide if I'm making 1 or 2. Just me and the wife and kids, so I think that 2 is going to be a bit much.

Oh that looks great. I think sauerkraut is an ingredient like Bacon: it just makes everything better.

Thursday nite clean out the fridge meatloaf

That looks so good! I can't even remember the last time I had meatloaf, but I know that I never grilled or smoked it. I'm obviously missing out on something good.

Weekend is almost here! Tri Tip... maybe

I think tomorrow I'm going to go to Restaurant Depot and score some tri tips. I've never done them, so I hope they're good (if I can even get them) I read in a Weber cookbook awhile back about cooking a tri tip as you would a brisker, i.e. low and slow in the WSM until probe-poking tender...

    Grilling Failure

I had dropped the lid and didn't realize that the edge had bent just enough that the lid didn't seat right on the kettle, so I had a bunch of extra airflow. It was easily fixed, so I hope it doesn't happen again.

    Ribs with Ribs

Wow! You guys are Sharp! Ok ok ...sprouts were steamed, but I forgot to cook the potatoes. Made yo for that mistake the next night with homemade scalloped potatoes. I'm going to go and hang my head in shame now.

    Q220 issue

Does anyone ever have problems with their Q220 not getting hot enough? With mine, it sometimes seems really his or miss for it getting hot, and it seems to miss more often than not. I've taken it apart, scrubbed and cleaned the burner with my air compressor, and checked the regulator. The...

    Grilling Failure

It was on my OTG. I did notice that my Q220 gets gunked up very quickly and requires frequent scrapings.
