Hey Bruce, where did you end up getting the 3/8” flare x 1/8” NPT fitting? Pretty much locally I’ve got Home Depot, Lowe’s, and ace hardware and I need that exact same piece. I wish I woulda saw that amazon hose with the fitting already on there a week ago!

Do the older deep fireboxes fit onto newer silver frames?

Tom, that looks really good! How did you attach the aluminum to the frame? or is it just sitting in there? I think I'm gonna do something similar but just leave the doors off of it.

Reviving this old thread- I just picked up a 2005 Platinum C last week from CL for 75 bucks. The issue is the solid accessory panel down below is totally rusted out. Because the platinum has the side walls and doors on the front, can I swap the rusted out panel for the rack? Or will i need to...
