Chili Rellonos con Carne and Willysito's Refrito Version 4.0

Great looking meal! I never thought about using the cast iron center of my grill grate to roast peppers in the house. I've been doing the balancing act (and failing) with the peppers on the stove. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you all for the kind words. My wife says I spoil the kids with too much good food. I say you're only young once so you better enjoy it. Have a great weekend everyone and get outside and cook! oh yeah, take pictures and share with the rest of us.

Been awhile since I smoked a fatty

My kids were asking when I was going to cook a fatty again. To be honest I forgot all about how easy and delicious they are. I had some pizza fixins left over and I thought, lets it do it. I rolled out the Italian sausage in the ziplock bag. This has got to be the best/easiest way of doing it...

El Toro Tri Tip sandwich and I've never been to California

First off, I would have to say you nailed the temp on that tri-tip. Second, outstanding slice on that. Nice and thin and across the grain makes for one tender piece of beef.

Friday night Pizza cook using the KettlePizza

Friday started off to be a family pizza cook. I figured we could use the grill with the Kettle Pizza. I've had very good luck with the KP in the past and set out to have another fun evening cooking and eating pizza. The pizzas came out pretty good just not "done" enough for me. My wife...

    Pizza again

I saw this in another post and it looks fantastic. I was going to ask you if this was the deep dish dough recipe form American Pie but saw that you got it from Whole Foods. When you try it again do you thing you will use the New York style crust or the deep dish recipe?

pizza on OTS the bane of my existence

I use wood splits. I take an oak log 8 to 10 inches long and split it into pieces. My pieces turn out to be 8 to 10 inches long and around 3 inches in diameter. I am planning to make pizzas this week. When I do I will take lots of pictures and post a thread.
