    Weekday Tri-Tip

The wife and kids wanted tritip for dinner on a Wednesday!? Who am I to argue with that. I tried to do it quick but its tough to rush it. here it was on direct heat with a little Montreal and getting a quick sear flipped over still on direct heat for a little more color moved to the...

    Weber One Touch vs performer

I have had an OTS for years. Last year I was able to get a Performer off of Craigslist and I absolutely love the Performer for all of the above mentioned features plus one I didn't expect. The added height of the Performer kettle turns out to be my favorite feature. Being 6'6" the OTS always...

    Maiden Voyage: Kettle Pizza

those pies look absolutely delicious! I love my KP! I also love that it got me to experiment with different dough recipes. I found that the dough I cook in an oven at 550 does not perform as well in the KP at 850. Trial and error is great when the errors taste so good.

    Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos

I've been looking at these racks. Are they worth it? or are they just another accessory that is used at first but destined to be a dust collector?

    New addition decisions...

I would vote for a Performer. To me the table alone is worth it but the gas assist has won me over and I love it. I was able to get a 2011 Performer off of craigslist for $50. I did setup an alert and it took about 3 months but I was able to find one.

    Kettle Pizza 2nd cook

Great looking pizza! I like those fork turners. I'll have to hit the dollar store to get a couple. I used to clean my thermometer but gave up on it. Most of the black wipes off but it just comes right back

Nate, thanks for the link. Here is another thread by the same user. In this thread he has a diagram of some of the KP mods he has done

The Pizza Quest continues... Now with Kettle Pizza (long)

The Red Sky Grill stone is great. It's too bad their site has been suspended. They have a facebook page but it looks like the last entry was in 2013. Not sure what happened to them but the stone is a great product. Hopefully someone else will start selling it.

Pulled the trigger on a 2015...

Any update on the height of the table? It looks like its the same height as existing performers but if it is higher I would be interested.

    Finally! PPV #1

Great pictures. Thank you for sharing. I think I need to get one of those pans. Thanks to this forum, I'm going to have way to many BBQ accessories. I'm going to have to build another shed to store everything.

2nd try at this pizza project.

Was it a new stone the first time when it stuck? I cook between 700 & 800 degrees and use one of these to take the pizza off the stone and a small 8 inch peel to turn the pizza while its cooking. I bank the coals in the back and throw in a couple small splits of oak to kick up the heat. I use...

What is the best Weber to restore?

Chris, I have the same Gold C and looking at your picture reminds me I have to clean it! I bought it new and love it even though it is now a backup to my Performer. I will never part with it. In my opinion it is a great grill and if the OP can find one to restore he wont be going wrong!

2nd try at this pizza project.

Tony, Those pizzas look very good. I've been using my Kettle Pizza for about a year and love it! I have a couple of questions for you; Did you have an issue with your pizza sticking to the stone while cooking? I've never put flour/ corn meal on the stone. It just burns as soon as it goes on...

    &@?!%#*+!!!!😡

When I bought my Performer off CL there was a dent under the handle and a couple of scratches on the lid. I called Weber to inquire about buying a new lid and the Rep offered to check the serial number to see if was registered already. It wasn't. So, he registered it to me and replaced the lid...
